  1. Travel to the village of Irondale on the map, located in the Feldcroft area to the south. If possible thanks to Floo powder.
  2. Once there, look right towards the mill and move towards the last house you see located just to the left of said mill.
  3. Go ahead and stick to the white sheet stretched on the wall to the left of the door of this house: your character will fall into the void, under the map. You triggered the bug.
  4. Get on your broom and head to Hogwarts.
  5. Look for the location of the common room you want to visit and while staying under the game map, try to appear there.

After all, it is quite normal that the game does not allow us to visit common rooms by default. In the books, we are not shown a wizard inviting a friend from another house to visit his common room. All inter-house meetings seem to take place in more public areas of the castle: the Great Hall, the library, empty classrooms, hallways, the Quidditch pitch, Hogsmeade, etc.

That’s not to say it’s impossible for such a thing to happen: after all, Harry and Ron manage to break into the Slytherin hall in the second book. But the fact that it’s never been shown once in Harry’s 7 years at Hogwarts strongly indicates that it’s not allowed.
